Gallery 111 is on 111 Rue St Antoine, at the heart of the 4th district of Paris (Metro St Paul).
Located at the end of a courtyard and on the ground floor, adjacent to St. Paul’s Church, the gallery encompasses an area of 250 m with a large skylight at its centre: it was formerly the studio of Andre Putman.
The lines are simple, and there is a particular atmosphere emerging from the space, which lends itself to beautiful encounters.
Our formula is divided into three major exhibitions per year up to a maximum of 15 days: these will be open to the public on specific dates, but visits can be organized by appointment in order to dedicate time to collectors, but also to unite a circle of art lovers sharing their desires and passion.
Michel Bourcy, an architect by training, art collector, has – after a journey as an art gallery owner – realized numerous exhibitions with Jean Fournier, both in France and abroad (Joan Mitchell, Sam Francis, Hantaï, Viallat). Over the past two years, he also collaborated with Guy Pieters, a Belgian gallerist.
Today his mission is to work alongside three or four artists, devoting his time in order to promote their work.
